Cars from pcars are not really a problem as there is a good script for max to import them. It "guesses" naming for objects and does a good job at it. It would be nice if 3dsimed could do this too. Then you have to figure out what texture goes where. Not too hard but takes some time.

But the tracks are a problem as you can only import each "tile" of the ground individually. And It does not know its place in the 3dworld so they all import on top of each other. This is a pain as trying to figure out the position of all the parts is very time consuming and tuff. Then you have to deal with the same issues of what texture goes where.

There does not seem to be a better extraction tool anywhere ATM. It would be grate if we could find the correlation between the number names extracted to the names the games use's but nobody has found anything yet.
