3DSimED 3.1a is released.

There are a number of new features:

    Axis Layout function to change the display of the xyz axes;

    Polyline paths which can be traced over geometry and the vertices saved to .csv;

    The animated objects and skins of Assetto Corsa cars can now be visualized.

In addition there are enhancements and fixes including:

    Support for Assetto Corsa v2 shaders;

    Assetto Corsa skinned objects can be imported & exported;

    Dirt Rally models can be imported;

    Editable face data is now exported to .FBX.

There are many other improvements & fixes, for more information and to download 3.1a go to http://www.sim-garage.co.uk.

Cheers

Dave N.

I'm having problems repeating this problem. Is this happening with all conversions to .png for you?.

Cheers

Thanks for the update Dave!!!

You may not be that interested, Everything that I export out of gJED creates geometry errors when loading into 3DSimed.

Export single object to FBX works now.

Export to fbx 6.0 and import in 3dsmax 2015

Nice work.

You test import in 3dsmax? maybe can be some bug in gJED..

Well need to convert gmt object to rF1 to do that. :doh:

I now use max to make my objects and uv map etc but 3dsimed is great visual tool to inspect the track quickly. It was that I test gJED and exported gmts I then went to load the track in simed and exported gmts give error when loaded into simed. Happens every time for me. I guess its good for modders to export from gJED they get there track locked.

Objects work fine in ISI viewer, Dev mod, and in game.

I am looking at this issue, it took me a long time to get gJED to work on my system so 3.1a went out before I knew about the .gmt issue.

Cheers
