when i change a material name and write with big letters i always have a conflict when write a big u using shift+u

so i think this is set as shortcut but i cant find it in the tools options, someone can tell me for what is it used?

Sorry for the late reply but I have been away.

Shift-U is used by UnHide Material (Display Menu) but there seems to be a problem overriding the shortcuts because the defaults return the next session. All that can be done is to temporarily remove the shortcut with customize quick access toolbar function.

The good news is this is the only Shift-character shortcut in the program.

In the next version I will reduce the number of default shortcuts to very few and leave the user to customize the keys.

no Problem, better a later answer than None :D

in the end i just was confused because i couldnt find the shortcut at the Options... thx for the explain ;)

Tried your solution without any luck...

Actually Unhide material didn't had any shortcut assigned but I assigned Ctrl+Shift+U to it and I still can't enter uppercase U to material name... :(

Using latest version...
