when I pull up a track it asks me if I want to keep "nesting objects" what does that mean? Also I did do a search and couldn't find the answer. How do I replace multiple objects at once for another like old street lamps for newer ones? Thanks in advance.

Nesting is when you have objects within objects, with no nesting the child objects are collapsed into the parent to have only one object. Some sims such as rFactor have no nested objects while, for instance, Assetto Corsa car models are better nested (for animation and naming).

Replacing the street lamps is quick if you many instances of the same street lamp just in different positions but in most sims every object has only one instance so you have to replace each one.

Cheers
