Hey,

I've been having some issues with a model in 3DSimED. The model is intended for use in rF1 and rF2. When I first imported the model, some of the textures were 'blacked out', like so:

However, when I applied an SRPL Shader to the affected areas, they were fine:

The problem lies with using it in rF2. Obviously it needs the tyres to be using the deformable tyre shader and it exhibits the same 'blacking out' problem (fine with SRPL):

I have already tried flipping the normals, reassigning the materials in 3dsmax and exporting via Blender, so I don't know if the fault is with 3DSimED or with the model itself and would appreciate some help/advice :)

Thanks for all the images of the problems you are having but it's impossible to help without knowing more about the model.

Each shader requires different textures to work. Was the model originally created using SRPL Shaders?.
When you right-click on the blacked out areas and select the material what is the DirectX Shader?

Cheers
