I was talking to someone on RaceDepartment about the new installment of NAGT and he asked me to come here and mention my observations about the auto clutch/blip/cut behavior in the mod. Basically, if you are using autoclutch, the engine over-revs briefly on upshifts before the clutch engages, and uses a low value for the throttle blip on downshifts causing a momentary rear squawk or lockup respectively.

I had always assumed that this was intentional, it has been that way at least since release 1.5 (I don't remember before that, I took a long break from simracing). He told me that you guys were not aware of it, but maybe this is all just a big miscommunication. I got used to it like this and I really enjoy the mod, but I know it has turned some people off.

Either way, I am having fun with the new cars, nice work :)

First off, thanks to all involved with all the work and releasing it to the public

Was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with the RX8 being extremely louder then the rest of the cars?? Ran a race last night with a mixed field driving the Challenger and the RX8 really stood out.

Maybe just on my end, just curious!

Thanks

It is, by design. Not only is it slightly louder, but the range is longer.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Also dawned on me I adjusted the sounds to better hear on teamspeak.

Great work on NAGT 1.6. Have small problem tho. When I try to purchase the Porsche 966 it will not come up and I get a "rim" error message. Anyone else experiencing this, if not, is there a fix for it, or am I going to have to re-install.

I did completely uninstall version 1.5 using the uninstaller that was posted.

I get it too. Re-install does nothing to help. I'm sure it will be fixed, just be patient.

Rim issues known, In the meantime you can run in dx9. Default setup for the Porsche needs a bit of tweaking to get it to turn. More bar, more spring, dampers to suit.

Looks like there might be an issue with rebound travel and the Porsche, for now it is suggested to use minimum ride heights front and rear.

What tires? Toyo RA-1's or R888?

In what way are they bad for you?

Calling them lousy without elaborating is not constructive criticism.

just a guess, your trying to run long race distances while using "sticker" tires made for qualifying only.

No I ran the heat cycle and at 30 minutes, one little slip causing the rears to spin just a bit overheated them and all traction was lost......ridiculous.....avg temp was 205 they went to way over 300 instantly......it was like sliding on ice
