This will serve as the thread for TPSCC server setup and hints.  I'm sure Callihan will have a big part of this thread...  :wink:

we are having some problems server side

not sure why yet

if we go to command /callvote event " "

upon reset drivers will then get terrain mismatches and sometimes vehicles
mismatches when they were fine just a few moments before

the server then has to be shut down and restarted then it clears up

Does it do this if you simply forward to "next event" ?

Is this using TPSCC tracks only, or others?

Sorry to sound like a question box, but I'm wondering if its related to something else.

Callihan said in another thread that a server admin should keep the "Fixed Upgrades" turned on to avoid any cheating. What exactly does this function do? Thanks for another hint :)

If the server enables this option, all vehicles will be forced to use one of the class packages.

equally as important is that is selects the correct Chassis and TIRES for the track you are running.

Another plus , is that you don't have to exit the track after a session change to change chassis/tires, its already done.

i wondered how that would be enabled.
we are currently using fixed setups for awesome on track fights, and i would like to enable fixed chassis/tires also.

If i understand correctly then, I don't have to specify what chassis/tires are used, it will select them automatically for everyone, or do i enter an upgrade code in one of the dedi files?
thanks

TPSCC has always chosen the correct tire/chassis combos automatically , regardless of user input.

<rant>
Some are claiming this to be new for their mod/project/commercial enterprise , but its been here for quite some time.
</rant>

If you want a extra level of assurance this is happening, just click on "fixed upgrades" in the dedicated server application. This button is directly under the button you select for "fixed setups" This makes the upgrades ( Tire/chassis ) enforced server side as well.

Good luck, and excuse the rant  :twisted:
