First off, I want to thank Bud Lucas, Goresh, Slider916, Cammel and patrickramirez for allowing me to build upon their work!

As someone who has been to VIR a few times and even driven it on track days, it bothered me that our version had a lot of inaccuracies. No fault of anyone who gave us our version for rF (Thanks Bud and Vince) since they used a version that had been originally found in NASCAR Heat and none of them live around here. So after noticing that we were going to be running it for TPTCC in about 3 weeks, I decided to give it a whack to improve it.

Probably a lot more work went into it than I should have, but this one is as close to realistic as I could get it in the timespan allotted.

I did leave a few inaccuracies in place, mostly for driveability of the track (for example, tire walls that would prevent you from flipping over behind a fence and not being able to get out). It is actually probably a lot more 'boring' and 'ugly' compared to version 4, but if you look at it compared to this...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSnA4X7xngI

...I think you'll agree that it's getting closer. Obviously a lot of things could still use some work, but not gonna mess with them now, and they're probably better for a scratch-built version.

Version 5.0 Fixes (see readme for all fixes up to current version)
===================
-Removed all the 'haybales' around circuit that were blocking off-road excursions
-Removed all buildings & tents that were not in 'spectator' areas on real track
-Moved pit buildings to correct location for real track
-Moved and removed tire walls to reflect real track
-Rebuilt flagstand to reflect real track
-Placed hi-vis bollards instead of 'haybales' to block unused sections of track, thanks NFR TEAM
-Included new cameras by patrickramirez from Goresh's GTR2 version
-Moved trees and bushes to correct locations for real track

Here's the track... (22 M)

Cheers!

:?:

If you make a remark like that, feel free to quantify it. You should know by now that we at the Pits leave NOBODY out of the credits if we can help it, so if I'm missing someone, it is by accident and I'll gladly add them back in. I copied the v4.0 readme as is and only added the v5.0 stuff.

Cheers!

Now that we seem to have established that everyone that needs to be mentioned has gotten their due credit, let's move past this particular issue and enjoy the track
