Hey, drivers! The 2010 Bullrun 1000 is coming fast!

The main event will be using NAGT, v1.5.1 or greater (we'll see how much we get done).
The track will be new, but will actually just have all the older combined layouts. You can currently practice using the 2008 Bullrun 1000 track (with new chicane, but less snow) ;)

How to qualify for the 2010 Bullrun 1000k
Enter any of the Qualifying sessions available:
(Be on time or you will miss the qualifying. Each session will last only 10 minutes)
Nov 6th - Pole day #1
Nov 7th - Pole day #2
At the completion of Nov 7th, the top-4 places on the grid are set.
Grid positions 5-40 are set in the following two days
Nov 8th - Euro | USA
Nov 9th - Euro | USA
At the completion of Nov 9th, all 40 grid positions are set.

# One driver from each team may attempt to qualify. He/She represents the entire team's qualifying times
# Car make used in qualifying must be used in race
# Each qualifying session will be 'private' qualifying.
# The single fastest lap from each session will represent the qualifying time
# You may participate in as many scheduled qualifying sessions as you like. Only your fastest lap will be used.
# Your team entry will be automatically placed in the Bullrun 1000k event based on qualifying times.


New to Race2Play and wanting to participate?

If you will be driving for another team:

I'll revise the overall rules for the event to match the info above. Note that no more than 3 drivers may be on a team. Feel free to ask any other questions. You may sign up for the event as soon as it is on the schedule...but you will still have to qualify to be in the Bullrun 1000.

Shame, was a good event.

Hate to see it has gone commercial.

'Commercial' would insinuate that sponsorship, prizes and organized funding and awards was present.

This is not the thread to remark on how I am deciding to run it. If you have concerns, contact me privately. Considering 6 cars were all that was left last year due to server problems, I am choosing to improve the race where things like that do not happen.

And they think you have to Pay to race.... You may want to clear that up, cause I think you can use a "Guest" membership, and it would be free?

I think this road has been traveled, But how is it not a pay to enter race?

Seems pretty clear to me... and to the 19,000 others already racing at Race2Play.


Bullrun 500k and Bullrun 250k events are also open to Guest members. In fact, 99.9% of all events at Race2Play are open to Guest members, so Im not sure where the confusion is or how we can be any more clear on the issue.

Yes it does. $10.39 for a standard membership. Split 3 ways, that's $3.46 apiece for a 3 man team to compete at R2P for a month, including the BR1000. So if you sign up now for a guest membership, upgrade around the 15th of October for a standard membership and put together a team, you'd be golden for the BR1000.

What does min - max rank mean, do we have to have run a race at "race to play" to get a ranking to run in the Bullrun and I thought it was on Nov 13th
and minimum 3 events??

That's just something Tim did to keep people from being able to prematurely sign up for the event. After Qualifying is done they'll put you on the signup sheet.
