I did this to help a friend out, and thought this might answer a few comon questions that are often head scratchers.

The model is a VW GTi that Brooke Derry made, and I took it and unwrapped it, made a very basic template, and setup the different UV channels, and Gmotor materials.

It uses basic Microsoft Mpeg4 codecs. I did this so you would not need anything special other than a media player to view it. They are in 7zip, and a little over a gig. Is Video with voice.

I may not be doing it correctly, but this works for me.

No, not at all, I just hope they can help folks, and maybe someone can elaborate and give me tips on doing things better or in a more efficient way.

You are always welcome to use anything I have, in any way you need or want Jan.

Since this has been resurrected....... the biggest thing I have learned since, is to "Detach to Element". That makes smoothing and unwrapping SO MUCH Easier it aint funny. Before I was just detaching the parts and then reattaching them... But as with most things, you get smarter down the road.

I seem to have lost all my tuts during box and hard drive changes... However my old Web site (Netfirms) seems to have glitched. I did not renew my site in March, and now it's seems to be back. So go download it before they figure out what happened.

Right click the link and choose "Save Tagret As", or "Save Link As" depending on your browser, and you will be able to download it.
