I've figured out how to change the particulars of the adjustment itself but the question that remains is WHERE does the ride height get measured at? I've read multiple pieces on how to change the height values in the HDV file but nothing about the location of the measurement.

I believe the first 4 undertray points are where the measurements are taken.

The Y=0 position in the model is where the measurement is taken. If you position the model so that the underside is 5 inches off of the ground, then you set the ride height in the setup to 5 inches, the underside of the car will be a total of 10 inches off of the ground.

For clarification, I was speaking physics. As far as Fore/Aft and Left/Right goes, the location should be the undertray points. The theory is based on the need for them to be referenced in correct order coupled with the fact that the rest of the points determine when sparks are generated.

Just note that you shouldn't get hung up on getting ride height perfect with Motec logging, there seems to be some variance in the calculation. Give or take 5mm is great, although I have seen swings higher either way with no changes to the actual physics.
