I've been working on a tack for a while now and I've just updated the AI lines for it. But there are a couple problems with it.
At one point, the cars enter a corner and I notice that the distance between the min and max lines narrows for a little bit and then widens back out to the intended width. The AI wreak at that location on the very first lap and it takes out half of the field (last count was 19/43 cars including myself). How do I maintain a consistent distance from the inside race line when drawing the outside race line so that stuff like that doesn't happen?
The second problem, is that there is one spot on the backstretch where the AI seem to hit the brakes and slow down to around 130 even though they were going at 190 prior to that and the corner, still several thousand feet away, is a 250+ mph corner. I checked the AI line in that section and it looks perfectly straight. I can go full throttle easily through that section of track with no problems. And the problem doesn't seem to have actually existed before I created the new line.
The track is a 3-groove track with the least amount of grip on the inside and the most amount of grip on the outside.
