We are having an fall endurance race...but with a few twists.

Due to a late start on converting Bullrun to rF2 and the fact that we feel that driver swaps with rF2 are not yet mature enough to subject the masses to (especially given some of the problems we've had the last few years), we are doing something a little different.

This year, the race will be single drivers, using rF2 and a classic track with vintage cars.

The 2013 Pits Endurance Classic
Sim: rF2
Track: ISI Belgium (1960s Spa, for those who aren't familar)
Car: Howston HG4 (Lola T70 full cockpit) 1969 wide
Distance: 2 hours
Date: November 16th
Time: 2:00 PM Eastern Standard (US, GMT -5)
Server: TPTCC (will be passworded for the race)

We'll be announcing more and setting up the server soon. In the meantime, feel free to grab the track and the car and the template and get cracking!

To register for the race, please post in this thread. Here is the information you will need to include:
* Driver name
* Location (city, country)
* Team name (A Team can only have 2 cars)
* Car number (first come, first serve, Bullrun racers from last year may take their previous number, so have an alternate)

The first 30 cars will automatically be entered. We will evaluate the server and may open up to 4 more spaces if needed. Since we are not doing driver swaps, we hope that the server load will remain stable.

Optional: You can submit a paint scheme. If you need painting assistance, just post in this thread. Make sure that you attach it in this thread (or send it to me on the ISI forums) before Friday evening.

Note that this thread will be considered the official news thread, and I will update any major news into this first post.

Cheers!

We have a memorial dinner to go to that evening but as long as the race goes off as scheduled I should be good to go.

Which model of the car is to be run: 67, 68, 69, 69 wide, or any of them?

Due to a scheduling conflict I won't be able to run the entire race BUT I do want to start and run as long as I can. If it is a problem entry wise please let me know and I'll just fergidaboudit. Next question, after painting a car where the heck does the .dds file go? I don't even see the Howston listed where the Vette from last season is.

TIA

Click the "Create Folder" button on the Tuning page, then look for an HG4_Car\(Car#) folder in your player\settings folder. Here's the path to the 13 car's folder:

...\rFactor2\UserData\player\Settings\HG4_car\HG4_13
