for one thing, there's 102 cars, and its 65 megs as it is. also this set was based on my 1996 carset that i painted starting in early 2003. rather than start from scratch i thought it would make the work easier by using the same bases and same templates, the years are so similar anyway.

the cars arent compressed at all so they still look pretty slick

they arent compressed using the game's method of compression. on a few cars i did use photoshop's compression but only to minimize file sizes and never if it affected how the car looked
