3DSimED V2.15 is released.

In 2.14 and a number of earlier versions there were serious problems saving F1 .MTS / GTR .GMT files which are now corrected.

I have also spent some time looking at 3DSimED running on Intel Mobile graphics and there seem to be a number of big problems with the drivers. Occlusion queries have to be switched off and one pass selection has to be chosen to have any chance of running longer than a few minutes - but it is recommended that they are avoided for running 3DSimED there just seems to be too many problems with the drivers.

Cheers!

Dave N.

Thanks Dave!

...on a side note, is 3dSimEd your lone obsession, or do you write other software?...just curious

Nice update. I can now edit models without it crashing. Thanks.

I've noticed the last few versions of 3dsimed2 don't allow animated textures from showing the actual animation in 3dsimed. Importing the same gmt into the original 3dsimed the animations appear perfectly fine. Is this known and common??

I might add theres no issue with the gmt and animation upon exporting, it works as one would expect ingame, its just in 3dsimed I can't see animated textures cycling the animation sequence.

Are not saved correctly when exporting shaders.
Original file include "add(+)" and "mul(x)".
Save the GMT is all "mul(x)".
MTS is save all not.
