Right click anywhere on the grid and click New Linear Guide. A blue line will appear where you right-clicked. There are 3 nodes to this line. One in the center, and one at each end. Drag the end nodes to where you want them to be to change the guide length, position, and direction. Or click the center node to just change the length.

Once you close sandbox, the linear guides are deleted.

I'm not sure what you mean. Linear guides go from point A to point B in a perfectly straight line. They can be used on turns for various purposes. Such as building surfaces (and walls) that have to go straight when the segment itself is curved. It's also good for making a straight surface across multiple track segments (such as the pit road on a tri-oval).

PS: I think this thing goes into the Sim Editing forum section.

The racing line that the ai follow?
That would be the race.lp, which is supported by the other lp's and the track.ini.

While on a race track, push "Ctrl+Alt+Shift+`" Reflap is built into NR2003.

What should have popped up was the Reflap (NR2003 lp Creation Tool) "How To" page (which explains the process) when you clicked the link http://nrtracks.com/nrtracks_board/index.php?topic=243.0 in my first post, or when I directed you there again in the answer to the pm you sent.

quote from " Reflap (NR2003 lp Creation Tool) "How To" "
Start Reflap:
You need to execute four keystrokes SIMULTANEOUSLY, [ Ctrl + Alt + Shift + ~ ].
If the game recognized the keystroke(s) entry, red text (see below) will appear in the top left corner of the screen.

All the keys must be held down at the same time.
The text will only be visible if you selected "Drive", i.e. you are in the car (live in-car view_cockpit, chase, far chase, nose, not in replay).

Other than that, :dunno: .
