rF2 Real Road Shader was rendering black, very very black, I search the key word and found that "Fixed: rF2 Real Road Shader was rendering white."
in 3DSimED 3.0v's release but can't found that version. I donnot know how to solve the problem.

3DSimED is up to version 3.1m and rF2 is now at v1109. You don't have to use those versions, and it may not fix anything, but it's much easier for me if I can be certain it's not a problem from the past.

Have you tried the rF2 viewer? (in the MODDEV folder of rF2) because you can quickly adjust the weather conditions.

BTW, I can assure you that I have saved tracks with the Real Road Shader to rF2 and they are fine, so I think 3DSimED is working but it could just be a setting in the material.

thanks for your replay very much.

some days ago I use 3.1L export models, copy and paste material and texture from ISI's silverstone, in the latest version game, I have some similarity problem(in company now, cant upload screenshot, sorry), track surface have some dark pattern like...emmmm shape like cloud(can't memorize more words more appropriate) on full track, and then, I back game version to 1108beta, so they gone to dark all of surface, yesterday I re export models by use 3.1m, but still problem


and problem when import F1-2017 Circuit, Img code wasn't work because of words (xD)

I rename that.

Your problems with F1-2017: are you sure you are importing with the F1-2107 plugin? you would get an exception if you used the F1-2016 plugin.

There's loads to go wrong with the Real Road Shader.


Have you set texture coordinates for all of the texture channels?.

I presume you have different texture maps for each stage, yes?. You need to make sure the Specular RGB is not zero.

I would take a pure white texture and replace each of the textures one by one to find which one was responsible for the darkness you have. I would also use the rF2 Viewer as it saves a whole lot of time.

it's not urgently needed, older F1-2017 plugin from 31k (plugin file size 899k) work normally in the moment.
